What is Heartline?

Heartline is a mobile application for people who want to connect across language barriers — whether for dating, long-distance relationships, friendship, or language exchange.

The app uses real-time artificial intelligence to translate text messages, voice calls, and video calls — so two people can speak, write, and see each other without sharing a language.

Why we built this

Existing communication tools treat language as an afterthought — a translate button tucked in a corner, or a clunky third-party tool that breaks the flow of conversation. Voice calls across languages were nearly impossible. Video calls even more so.

We kept hearing the same story: two people who found something real, but couldn't bridge the gap between their words. A traveler who met someone extraordinary abroad. A student who fell for their language exchange partner. Two people on opposite sides of the world who couldn't quite get close enough.

• Voice calls with real-time interpretation. Our AI listens to what you say, transcribes it, translates it, and plays it back in your partner's language — in real time with minimal delay. You speak naturally; they hear you in their language.
• Video calls with live subtitles. Face-to-face across any distance. Live subtitles appear as you speak, so nothing gets lost between your expressions and the words on screen.
